It’s a sign of the times: If someone disagrees with you, and you can’t resolve differences with reasonable dialogue, the next step is to attack them, intimidate them, destroy their property, and if necessary, physically assault them.
Violence, intimidation, character assassination, and chaos is now the Standard Operating Procedure of the Left and they will do anything and stop at nothing.
Earlier this month someone brought a Trump banner to the Frozen on Broadway show. Carole Cook, an actress in the show, said “Where is John Wilkes Booth when you need him?” (Remember Booth assassinated President Lincoln in Ford’s Theater April 14, 1865.) Cook, 94, is known for her part in “Sixteen Candles” in 1985.
The online magazine TMZ asked Cook about it, and if she wanted President Trump dead. she semi-jokingly (?) said “Why not?”
The Secret Service was not amused.
In an official statement, while it was not an “official investigation”, they decided to have a little chat with Cook. The Agency made it clear, “The Secret Service is aware of the comment. While we do not confirm or comment on the absence or existence of specific investigations, we can say we investigate all threats against the President.”
Then there is Denise McAllister, a contributor to Fox News and PJ Media. She sent out a tweet early September about her disgust with the abortion movement.
In the tweet she said, “At the root of abortion hysteria is women’s unhinged desire for irresponsible sex. Sex is their god. Abortion is their sacrament. It’s abhorrent as women have flung themselves from the heights of being the world’s civilizing force to the muck and mire of dehumanizing depravity.”
The tweet unsurprisingly caught the attention of pro-choicers and they let her have it. McAllister has received death and rape threats, and on September 9, 2018 she tweeted, “I am facing legit death & rape threats because I have dared to call out women who are hysterical about abortion and to challenge them to be responsible and not to elevate sex to the point that they’re willing to kill human life to avoid their responsibilities. How sick is that?”
How sick indeed.
In Albany County, Wyoming, the GOP office had been open two days when it was set on fire. Ben McKay, GOP chairman, said it was intentional, and could have been a lot worse: People lived in the apartment above the office. Someone at the bank ATM across the street reported the fire.
In Nebraska last July, the GOP office has bricks thrown through the windows and “Abolish ICE” spray-painted on the sidewalk.
In D.C. earlier this month, Cassandra Fairbanks, a Trump supporter and political activist, tweeted “Who is going to the MAGA meet-up tonight?” An anonymous Twitter account owner replied “I’m coming with a gun and I expect to get numerous blood-stained MAGA hats as trophies.”
And in all of this, congressional Democrats and liberal Republicans remain silent. Apparently they no longer have the rights of ALL American citizens at heart, nor do they have the good of the country at heart.
They want power and control at any cost.
None of them deserve to be called Americans.
They only deserve to be voted out.
