The Emmy’s this year had the lowest ratings ever since– well, last year, when the ratings continued to tank. On the night Hollywood spends 3 hours on prime-time TV patting themselves on the back and pushing every perverted and decadent life-style they can, they really outdid themselves this year.
I’m not going to mention the names of the two “actors” who emceed the event, because not only do they not deserve to be mentioned here, they don’t deserve being called entertainers. (Their names can be found here.) They set the mood for the entire evening by mocking God, Christianity, and anyone who has any religious belief.
It was nothing short of blasphemy.
Only a fool says in his heart “there is no God.” (Psalms 14:1; 53:1)
Yet the hypocrisy of Hollywood appeared again when they paid tribute to the late Senator John McCain who openly talked about his faith helping him through the 5 years he was a POW in Viet Nam. They didn’t make fun of Senator McCain, nor call him an “ex-crackhead.”
That was nothing more than a dig at President Trump, it had nothing to do with any sense of loyalty to America or patriotic duty or the death of an American veteran and statesman.
Recently former VP Joe Biden said the people who got President Trump elected was the “dregs of society.”
No, Mr. Biden; you’re looking at the wrong people.
The dregs of society are the liberal entertainers and actors who persistently bad-mouth America, where they have the Freedom to be actors and make ridiculous amounts of money doing it, and they have not really sacrificed one thing to deserve it. It is not “white privilege” they suffer from, it’s “Hollywood privilege” and “entertainment privilege” which they have bestowed upon themselves. Yet they have the audacity to call the people who pay to see their movies and buy their songs second-class citizens, and mock them and their God.
There is a warning found in Scripture: “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” (Gal 6:7 NIV)
People say history repeats itself. Read this from Biblical history:
“The LORD, the God of their ancestors, sent word to them through His messengers again and again, because He had pity on His people and on His dwelling place. But they (the people of Israel) mocked God’s messengers, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets until the wrath of the LORD was aroused against his people and there was no remedy. (2 Chronicles 36:15-16 NIV)
God will not be mocked.
