Squeaky Wheels

There are 62 new members in Congress.

Two or three of them are dominating the press with their fact-less statements, sensational ideas, and foul-mouthed declarations.

Members of Congress used to have some integrity simply because they were members of Congress.  They were held in high regard for the most part, even by people who disagreed with them.

You might say members of Congress used to have some class.  Maybe some still do.

Some definitely do not.

Any one who stands on the floor of Congress and uses four-letter words and phrases to make any kind of statement is uncivilized and displays a tremendous amount of disrespect for their peers and a disregard for the office they hold.

Statements that are anti-Semitic or anti-American certainly have no place in Congress.  A recent resolution condemning “bigotry” and a number of ‘anti-this’ and ‘anti-that’ meant absolutely nothing.  Freshman members of Congress who deserved to be censured (all Democrats) were not even mentioned.

Considering these same members are on key House committees, we have to wonder what the House is really trying to accomplish.  Whatever it is, be assured it is not good for the American People and our free way of living.

The Founding Fathers — I suspect particularly Thomas Jefferson — would be appalled and indeed horrified that a Muslim would be elected to Congress.  They understood the Islam religion and the Muslim concept of world domination– one way or another.  They understood in Islam, there is no difference between the State and Islam.  Islam IS the state; it controls (or wants to control) every aspect of every governing entity from the school board to Congress, but more so it wants to control people.  Thomas Jefferson read the Quran to better understand Muslim belief and considered them an enemy at the time.

Infidels are those who do not believe in Islam.  Infidels have little choice when they fall under Islamic rule:  they can convert or die (usually the case), or they can pay a poll tax (called the jizya) to support the ruling Muslims.  Conquered people who refuse both to convert or pay the jizya are to be put to the sword.

But if you’re a Christian, most likely you would be killed.

So two or three freshman Democrat Congress members are being glorified by the liberal media while they insult all things American and ignore all things decent and right.  Yet they have the biggest platform in the world – the American News Media – to spread their vitriol, grandiose plans, and world-saving legislation.

They’re pushing against their own party leadership, and have finally drawn some criticism from them.  Yet the other Democrats did not have the fortitude to put their foot down and say no more.

Which is perhaps a good thing.  A house divided cannot stand (no pun intended) .  Infighting always leads to collapse at some level.

So the squeaky wheels squeak.  Sooner or later (hopefully sooner) they will get replaced or simply fall apart.
