Armor

“Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world….” 1 John 4:4

How unfathomable is the love, grace and mercy of God! What always amazes me – and encourages me – is that Paul, in the midst of trials, sufferings, and persecutions, was obedient to The Spirit and wrote so many of the gospel letters.

Western Christians are so spoiled! We MUST get closer to God; in these times where we are on the brink of true persecution – like we have never seen – we must read, learn, and remember the Word of God, and teach it to our children and grandchildren, and to all who will listen.

We must take heed to Ephesians 6:10-17 – put on the WHOLE armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, understanding that we do not fight against flesh and blood, but the powers of Evil.

¹⁴ Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

¹⁵ And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

¹⁶ Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

¹⁸ Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Only through Jesus Christ are we redeemed.

Only through Jesus Christ are we sanctified and made pure before God the Father.

Only through Jesus Christ will we have victory – and we have been promised exactly that.
