No Shadow of Turning

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.  (James 1 KJV)

Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father,
there is no shadow of turning with thee.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  (John 8:12)

Where there is Darkness there is no shadow, but where there is Complete Light – the Light of Christ – there is no Darkness.
