Karen Pence, wife of Vice President Pence, has come under fire (not surprisingly) for her teaching at a Christian School which the New York Times said “bars LGBT students and teachers.” Actually, the school doesn’t “bar” anyone, but they do define sexual activity outside of marriage as moral misconduct.
But every liberal media outlet and most of the talk shows jumped on that band wagon, with Jimmy Kimmel’s show stating “Karen Pence takes job at school that hates gays” which is what they want the world to believe about Christians and anyone else who is against homosexuality. Though the article doesn’t say so, I’m willing to guess the school also believes marriage is between one man and one woman (as defined at birth).
Joseph Farrah of WND says he’s been in the news business for 45 years, and “…never before have the media become so estranged from mainstream Christianity – the largest religion in the world. Judging from what you see in the media, you might assume there are more homosexuals on the planet than followers or Jesus the Messiah.
It’s not Karen Pence’s school that hates anyone. Rather, it is the Christophobic left-wing culture that is full of hate for those who choose to follow a different path for their families – the way of biblical morality.”
But Mainstream Media and liberals don’t want morality, they want “social justice” which they say includes open borders, “inclusivity”, complete “tolerance” and situation ethics– or no ethics at all.
Dinesh D’Souza, perhaps a controversial figure on the right, was pardoned last year by the President for a campaign finance violation. President Trump said what should have been a quick fine as was usually the case, D’Souza was indicted with a felony. Many believe he was targeted because of his conservative views.
D’Souza said “Progressivism marches behind Social Justice while protecting it’s own privileges. They never turn the moral mirror on themselves. They favor increased centralized power in this country over and above the economy and citizens lives.”
The proof of this is their push for not just open borders, but no borders at all. They believe a mass of illegal immigrants given the right to vote will vote them into power. What the immigrants don’t realize is after the liberals come into power, they will turn on those who gave them that power, and the immigrants will actually end up no better off than where they were before they came to America. In fact, they may find themselves in a worse situation.
It’s the typical story of Socialism in history. It starts with a movement the people have been convinced is the answer to all the social ills they face. They are promised solutions, including a distribution of wealth, that will make everyone “equal.” They promise them the government will take care of them and provide everything they need; a welfare state is created. All they have to do is support the government by voting the right people into office. Eventually, when the usurpation is complete, the government will tell you where you can work, how much you get paid, and how much (if any) you get to take home. They will also tell you where you can go to church and what you are allowed to believe, whether or not you are allowed to have children, and if you do, where your children will go to school and what they will be taught.
It’s the road to totalitarianism and dictatorship which becomes full-blown Communism. Communism is the most brutal, anti-human form of government on the planet. Only the elite ruling class has any privilege, and there is always, always infighting among them.
America is teetering on the edge of social and economic destruction, both held at bay up to now by an administration headed by a man who believes in America. How long can he keep it up under the constant barrage of media bias and political espionage is anyone’s guess.
I’ve said before our salvation does not come from Washington, D.C. or whoever is in the oval office. But even before Jethro advised Moses on how to govern the Israel people in the wilderness, the structure of government was and is based on God’s Word. The Founding Fathers knew it, most American’s used to know it, but many have stopped believing it. Many of our youth no longer consider America to be a great nation, let alone a Christian nation.
“The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:14).
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Proverbs 1:7)
America desperately needs a revival. A God-exalting, Christ-centered, Holy Ghost-empowered awakening like the world has never seen before, even greater than previous ‘great awakenings’.
Only God can truly make America great again.
