Did we just have an election, or not? I distinctly remember voting. But whatever happens, we would all do well to remember the main-stream media, Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, et al, does not have the authority to declare the winner in a presidential election, and never has.
There’s nothing wrong with making educated guesses and predictions, but that’s all it is. And yes, many of them may be guessing correctly.
Or not.
The final decision is made on December 14 when the Electoral College electors cast their votes. After all the vote-counting, court challenges, meltdowns, protests, and riots, it will finally be over amid sighs of relief and screams of anguish.
American society has become so dependent on our government as the be-all-do-all solution to all problems we have fallen into a quagmire of Godless, lawless, immoral living that has no good outcome.
The Apostle John warns us in 1 John 2:
15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
Our salvation does not come from the White House, regardless who the occupant may be at any given time. Salvation is of the Lord.
