Time for a Tough Leader

This morning some news outlets — at least the conservative ones– report that Russia has heeded President Trump’s warning about U.S. air strikes in Syria. Russia moved 11 ships out of the Syrian port of Tartus supposedly out of harms way. This after Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin told Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV on Tuesday evening, according to Reuters: “If there is a strike by the Americans, then … the missiles will be downed and even the sources from which the missiles were fired.”

The U.S.S Donald Cook, a guided missile destroyer with 75 Tomahawk missiles on board  currently parked off the coast of Syria would no doubt be considered a “source” by Russia. It also has 20 surface-to-air missiles if needed to deal with any confrontation by enemy air craft. In addition, the French navy ship Aquitaine is in position with 16 cruise missiles.

British Prime Minister Theresa May has said she is willing to join the military action even without the consent of Parliament.

Syrian president Bashaar al-Assad has stooped to new levels in the use of chemical weapons against his own people, killing 70 people including women and children. As many as 500 were treated for exposure to “toxic chemicals.”

It’s a repeat of last year when al-Assad used chemical weapons against his own people. That time, 59 American Tomahawk missiles hit a Syrian airbase where the chemicals were housed. This time, an air strike is expected to be more wide-spread. The Syrian military is already moving troops out of their bases in anticipation of the missile strike.

Russia and the al-Assad regime, along with the liberal press in America, have accused Israel and the United States of killing civilians with past air strikes, but it’s a known fact that civilians, including children, are used as “human shields” to deter attacks.

While the liberal press works to disenfranchise the American People from President Trump, he works to make the world a safer place, standing against the likes of Basharr al-Assad and Vladimir Putin. He doesn’t make excuses, he doesn’t apologize, he doesn’t back down from the thugs of other world governments.

He is finally re-establishing the greatness of America.
